Chapter 22

1 AND three years passed without war Between Aram and Israel.

2 And it came to pass in the third year, that Jehoshaphat the king of Judah came down to Ahab the king of Israel.

3 And the king of Israel said to his servants, Do you know that Ramath-gilead belongs to us, and how long shall we keep still and not take it out of the hand of the king of Aram?

4 And he said to Jehoshaphat, Will you go with me to battle to Ramath-gilead? And Jehoshaphat said, I will go as you go, my people as your people and my horses as your horses.

5 And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, Enquire, I pray, for the word of the LORD this day.

6 Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said to them, Shall I go to Ramath-gilead to battle or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the LORD will deliver the Arameans into the hand of the king.

7 And Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD that we might enquire of him?

8 And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man by whom we may enquire of the LORD; his name is Micah the son of Imlah; but I hate him, for he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.

9 Then the king of Israel called a eunuch and said, Make haste and bring here Micah the son of Imlah.

10 And the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah were seated each on his throne, clothed with robes of different colors, at the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets were prophesying before them.

11 And Zedekiah the son of a Canaanitish woman made for himself horns of iron; and he said, Thus says the LORD: With these you shall pierce the Arameans, until you have destroyed them.

12 And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramath-gilead and you will triumph; for the LORD shall deliver them into your hands, O king.

13 And the messenger who went to call Micah spoke to him, saying, Behold now the words of the false prophets with one accord have predicted favorably concerning the king; let your word be like the word of one of them, and you also predict favorably.

14 And Micah said, As the LORD lives, whatsoever the LORD says to me, that will I speak.

15 So he came to the king. And the king said to him, Micah, shall we go to Ramath-gilead to battle or shall we forbear? And he answered him, Go up and be victorious; for the LORD shall deliver them into your hand, O king.

16 And the king said to him, How many times shall I adjure you that you tell me nothing but that which is true in the name of the LORD?

17 And Micah said, I saw Israel scattered upon the mountains like sheep that have no shepherd; and the LORD said, These have no master; let them return every man to his own house in peace.

18 And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell you that he would not prophesy good concerning me, but evil?

19 And Micah said, Hear therefore the word of the LORD; I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.

20 And the LORD said, Who shall persuade Ahab that he may go up and fall at Ramath-gilead? And one said in this manner and another said in that manner.

21 And there came forth a spirit, and stood before the LORD, and said, I will persuade him.

22 And the LORD said to him, By what means? And he said, I will go forth, and will be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. And he said to him, You shall persuade him and prevail also; go forth and do so.

23 Now therefore`, behold, the LORD has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all these your prophets, and the LORD has spoken evil concerning you.

24 But Zedekiah the son of the Canaanitish woman went near and struck Micah on his cheek and said to him, Which way has the Spirit of the LORD departed from me and spoken to you?

25 And Micah said to him, Behold, you shall see in that day, when you shall go into an inner chamber to hide yourself.

26 Then the king of Israel said, Take Micah and deliver him to Arnon the governor of the city and to Joash the king's son;

27 And say, Thus says the king: Put this fellow in the prison and feed him with bread of affliction and with water of affliction until I come in peace.

28 And Micah said, If you return in peace, then the LORD has not spoken by me. And he said, Hear, all you people.

29 So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramath-gilead.

30 And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself and enter into the battle; but you put on your robes. And the king of Israel disguised himself and went into the battle.

31 But the king of Aram commanded the thirty-two captains of his chariots, saying, Fight neither with small nor great, save only with the king of Israel.

32 And when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, they thought he was the king of Israel. And they turned aside to fight against him; and Jehoshaphat cried out.

33 And when the captains of the chariots saw that he was not the king of Israel, they turned back from pursuing him.

34 And a certain man drew his bow toward him at a venture and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the breastplate; wherefore the king said to the driver of his chariot, Turn around and carry me out of the army; for the pangs of death have come upon me.

35 And the battle grew fiercer that day; and the king was standing in the chariot facing the Arameans, and died that evening; and the blood ran out of his wound into the hollow of his chariot.

36 And at sunset a herald proclaimed throughout the army, saying, Go, every man to his city and every man to his own country.

37 So the king died and was brought to Samaria; and they buried him in Samaria.

38 And they washed the chariot on the hill of Samaria; and they washed his armor; and the dogs licked up his blood, according to the word of the LORD which he spoke.

39 Now the rest of the acts of Ahab and all that he did and the ivory house which he built and all the cities that he built, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

40 So Ahab slept with his fathers; and Ahaziah his son reigned in his stead.

41 And Jehoshaphat the son of Asa began to reign over Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel.

42 Jehoshaphat was thirty-five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty-five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Arubah the daughter of Shilhi.

43 And he walked in all the ways of Asa his father; he did not turn aside from doing that which was right in the sight of the LORD; nevertheless he did not remove the temples of idols; for the people still offered sacrifices and burned incense on the high places.

44 And Jehoshaphat made peace with the kings of Israel.

45 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat and all the might that he showed and how he warred, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah.

46 And the remnant of the Sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he removed from the land.

47 There was then no king who reigned in Edom.

48 Jehoshaphat built ships at Tarshish to go to Ophir for gold; but they did not go; for the ships were broken at Ezion-geber.

49 Then Ahaziah the son of Ahab said to Jehoshaphat, Let my servants go with your servants in the ships. But Jehoshaphat would not consent.

50 And Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father; and Joran his son reigned in his stead.

51 Ahaziah the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria in the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and he reigned two years over Israel.

52 And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the ways of his father and in the ways of his mother and in the ways of Jeroboam the son of Nebat who made Israel sin;

53 For he served Baal and worshipped him and provoked to anger the LORD God of Israel, according to all that his father had done.

1 І прожили́ вони три роки, і не було війни між Сирією та між Ізраїлем.

2 І сталося третього року, і зійшов Йосафа́т, цар Юдин, до Ізраїлевого царя.

3 І сказав Ізраїлів цар до своїх слуг: „Чи ви знаєте, що ґілеадський Рамот — наш? А ми мовчимо́, замість того, щоб забрати його з руки сирійського царя“.

4 І сказав він до Йосафа́та: „Чи ти пі́деш зо мною на війну до ґілеадського Рамоту?“ А Йосафа́т відказав: „Я — як ти, народ мій — як народ твій, мої коні — як твої коні!“

5 І сказав Йосафа́т до Ізраїлевого царя: „Вивідай зараз слово Господнє!“

6 І зібрав Ізраїлів цар пророків, близько чотирьох сотень чоловіка, та й сказав до них: „Чи йти мені на війну на ґілеадський Рамот, чи занеха́ти?“ А ті відказали: „Іди, а Господь дасть його в цареву руку“.

7 І сказав Йосафа́т: „Чи нема тут іще Господнього пророка, — і ви́відаємо від нього“.

8 І сказав Ізраїлів цар до Йосафата: „Є ще один муж, щоб від нього вивідати Господа. Та я нена́виджу його, бо він не пророкує на мене добре, а тільки зле. Це Міхей, син Їмлин“. А Йосафа́т відказав: „Нехай цар не говорить так!“

9 І покликав Ізраїлів цар одного є́внуха, і сказав: „Приведи скоріш Міхея, Їмлиного сина!“

10 І цар Ізраїлів та цар Юдин сиділи кожен на троні своїм, повби́рані в ша́ти при вході до брами Самарії, а всі пророки пророкували перед ними.

11 А Седекія, Кенаанин син, зробив собі залізні ро́ги й сказав: „Так сказав Господь: Оцим будеш побивати сиріян аж до ви́гублення їх!“

12 І всі пророки пророкували так, говорячи: Виходь до ґілеадського Рамоту, і пощастить тобі, — і Господь дасть його в цареву руку“.

13 А той послане́ць, що пішов покликати Міхея, говорив до нього, кажучи: „Ось слова тих пророків, — одноусто звіщають цареві добро. Нехай же буде слово твоє, як слово кожного з них, і ти говори́тимеш добре“.

14 І сказав Міхей: „Як живий Господь, — те, що скаже мені Госпо́дь, я те говоритиму!“

15 І прийшов він до царя, а цар сказав до нього: „Міхе́ю, — чи пі́демо на війну́ до ґілеа́дського Рамо́ту, чи занеха́ємо?“ А той відказав йому: „Вийди, і пощастить тобі, — і Господь дасть у цареву руку“.

16 І сказав йому цар: „Аж скільки разі́в я заприсягав тебе, що ти не говоритимеш мені нічо́го, тільки правду в Ім'я́ Господа?“

17 А той відказав: „Я бачив усього Ізраїля, розпоро́шеного по гора́х, немов ове́ць, що не мають пастуха́. І сказав Господь: Немає в них пана, — нехай ве́рнуться з миром кожен до дому свого“.

18 І сказав Ізраїлів цар до Йосафа́та: „Чи ж не казав я тобі, — він не буде пророкувати мені доброго, а тільки лихе́?“

19 А Міхей відказав: „Тому́ послухай Господнього слова: Бачив я Господа, що сидів на престолі Своїм, а все небесне ві́йсько стояло при Ньому з прави́ці Його та з ліви́ці Його.

20 І сказав Господь: Хто́ намовить Ахава, і він вийде й упаде в ґілеадському Рамоті? І говорив той так, а той говорив так.

21 І вийшов дух, і став перед Господнім лицем та й сказав: Я намо́влю його! І сказав йому Господь: Чим?

22 А той відказав: Я вийду й стану духом неправди в устах усіх його пророків. А Господь сказав: Ти намовиш, а також переможеш; вийди та й зроби так!

23 А тепер оце Господь дав духа неправди в уста всіх оцих пророків, а Господь говорив на тебе лихе́“...

24 І підійшов Седекія, Кенаанин син, і вдарив Міхея по щоці та й сказав: „Кудою це перейшов Дух Господній від мене, щоб говорити з тобою?“

25 А Міхей сказав: „Ось ти побачиш це, коли вбіжиш до найдальшої кімна́ти, щоб схова́тися“.

26 І сказав Ізраїлів цар: „Візьми Міхея, і відведи до Амона, начальника міста, та до Йоаша, царевого сина,

27 та й скажеш: Отак сказав цар: Посадіть оцього до в'язни́чного дому, і давайте йому їсти скупо хліба й скупо води, аж поки я не верну́ся з миром“.

28 А Міхей відказав: „Якщо справді ве́рнешся ти з миром, то не говорив Господь через мене!“ І до того сказав: „Слухайте це, всі наро́ди!“

29 І вийшов Ізраїлів цар та Йосафа́т, цар Юдин, до ґілеадського Рамо́ту.

30 І сказав Ізраїлів цар до Йосафата: „Я переберу́ся, і піду́ на бій, а ти вбери свої царські шати!“ І перебрався Ізраїлів цар, і пішов на бій.

31 А сирійський цар наказав керівника́м своїх колесни́ць, тридцятьом і двом, говорячи: „Не бу́дете воювати з мали́м та з великим, а тільки з самим Ізраїлевим царем“.

32 І сталося, як керівники́ колесни́ць побачили Йосафа́та, то вони сказали: „Це дійсно Ізраїлів цар!“ І зайшли на нього, щоб воювати, а Йосафа́т закричав.

33 І сталося, як керівники́ колесни́ць побачили, що це не Ізраїлів цар, то поверну́ли від нього.

34 А один чоловік зне́хотя натягнув лука, та й ударив Ізраїлевого царя між підв'яза́нням пояса та між па́нцерем. А той сказав своєму візникові: „Поверни назад, і виведи мене з табо́ру, бо я ране́ний“...

35 І знявся бій того дня, а цар був поста́влений на колесни́ці проти Сирії, і помер уве́чорі. І кров із рани текла в колесни́цю.

36 А як сонце захо́дило, нісся крик у табо́рі такий: „Кожен — до міста свого́, і кожен — до кра́ю свого́!“

37 І помер цар, і був приве́зений до Самарії. І поховали царя в Самарії.

38 І полоска́ли колесни́цю над ставом у Самарії, і пси лиза́ли його кров, а блудни́ці мили своє тіло, за словом Господнім, що Він говорив.

39 А решта Ахавових діл, і все, що́ він зробив був, і дім зо слоно́вої кости, що він збудував, і всі міста́, які він побудува́в, — отож вони написані в Книзі Хроніки Ізраїлевих царів.

40 І спочив Ахав із батька́ми своїми, а замість нього зацарюва́в син його Ахазія.

41 А Йосафа́т, Асин син, зацарював над Юдою в четвертому році Ахава, царя Ізраїлевого.

42 Йосафат був віку тридцяти й п'яти літ, коли він зацарював, і двадцять і п'ять літ царював в Єрусалимі. А ім'я́ його матері — Азува, дочка́ Шілхи.

43 І ходив він усією дорогою батька свого Аси, і не збо́чував із неї, щоб чинити добре в Господніх оча́х.

44 Тільки па́гірки не були пони́щені, — народ іще прино́сив жертви й кадив на па́гірках.

45 І Йосафат замирив з Ізраїлевим царем.

46 А решта Йосафатових діл та лица́рськість його, що́ він чинив був та як воював, — отож вони написані в Книзі Хроніки Юдиних царів.

47 А решту блудоді́їв, що позостава́лися за днів його батька Аси, він вигубив із Кра́ю.

48 А царя не було в Едомі, — був намісник царів.

49 А Йосафат наробив був таршіських кораблі́в, щоб піти до Офіру по золото, та не пішов, бо порозбива́лися кораблі при Ецйон-Ґевері.

50 Тоді сказав Ахазія, син Ахавів, до Йосафата: „Нехай пі́дуть на корабля́х мої раби з рабами твоїми“. Та Йосафат не захотів.

51 І спочив Йосафат із своїми батьками. І був він похо́ваний в Місті Давида, свого батька, а замість нього зацарював син його Єгорам.

52 Ахазія, Ахавів син, зацарював над Ізраїлем у Самарії, в сімнадцятому році Йосафата, Юдиного царя, і царював над Ізраїлем два роки.

53 І робив він лихе́ в Господніх оча́х, і ходив дорогою ба́тька свого́ й дорогою своєї матері, та дорогою Єровоама, Неватового сина, що вводив у гріх Ізраїля.

6 Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, about four hundred men, and said to them, Shall I go to Ramath-gilead to battle or shall I forbear? And they said, Go up; for the LORD will deliver the Arameans into the hand of the king.

6 І зібрав Ізраїлів цар пророків, близько чотирьох сотень чоловіка, та й сказав до них: „Чи йти мені на війну на ґілеадський Рамот, чи занеха́ти?“ А ті відказали: „Іди, а Господь дасть його в цареву руку“.

7 And Jehoshaphat said, Is there not here a prophet of the LORD that we might enquire of him?

7 І сказав Йосафа́т: „Чи нема тут іще Господнього пророка, — і ви́відаємо від нього“.

8 And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man by whom we may enquire of the LORD; his name is Micah the son of Imlah; but I hate him, for he does not prophesy good concerning me, but evil. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.

8 І сказав Ізраїлів цар до Йосафата: „Є ще один муж, щоб від нього вивідати Господа. Та я нена́виджу його, бо він не пророкує на мене добре, а тільки зле. Це Міхей, син Їмлин“. А Йосафа́т відказав: „Нехай цар не говорить так!“

11 А Седекія, Кенаанин син, зробив собі залізні ро́ги й сказав: „Так сказав Господь: Оцим будеш побивати сиріян аж до ви́гублення їх!“

12 And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramath-gilead and you will triumph; for the LORD shall deliver them into your hands, O king.

12 І всі пророки пророкували так, говорячи: Виходь до ґілеадського Рамоту, і пощастить тобі, — і Господь дасть його в цареву руку“.

15 So he came to the king. And the king said to him, Micah, shall we go to Ramath-gilead to battle or shall we forbear? And he answered him, Go up and be victorious; for the LORD shall deliver them into your hand, O king.

15 І прийшов він до царя, а цар сказав до нього: „Міхе́ю, — чи пі́демо на війну́ до ґілеа́дського Рамо́ту, чи занеха́ємо?“ А той відказав йому: „Вийди, і пощастить тобі, — і Господь дасть у цареву руку“.

18 And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell you that he would not prophesy good concerning me, but evil?

18 І сказав Ізраїлів цар до Йосафа́та: „Чи ж не казав я тобі, — він не буде пророкувати мені доброго, а тільки лихе́?“

19 А Міхей відказав: „Тому́ послухай Господнього слова: Бачив я Господа, що сидів на престолі Своїм, а все небесне ві́йсько стояло при Ньому з прави́ці Його та з ліви́ці Його.

20 І сказав Господь: Хто́ намовить Ахава, і він вийде й упаде в ґілеадському Рамоті? І говорив той так, а той говорив так.

28 А Міхей відказав: „Якщо справді ве́рнешся ти з миром, то не говорив Господь через мене!“ І до того сказав: „Слухайте це, всі наро́ди!“

29 So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramath-gilead.

29 І вийшов Ізраїлів цар та Йосафа́т, цар Юдин, до ґілеадського Рамо́ту.

30 And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, I will disguise myself and enter into the battle; but you put on your robes. And the king of Israel disguised himself and went into the battle.

30 І сказав Ізраїлів цар до Йосафата: „Я переберу́ся, і піду́ на бій, а ти вбери свої царські шати!“ І перебрався Ізраїлів цар, і пішов на бій.

31 But the king of Aram commanded the thirty-two captains of his chariots, saying, Fight neither with small nor great, save only with the king of Israel.

31 А сирійський цар наказав керівника́м своїх колесни́ць, тридцятьом і двом, говорячи: „Не бу́дете воювати з мали́м та з великим, а тільки з самим Ізраїлевим царем“.

32 And when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, they thought he was the king of Israel. And they turned aside to fight against him; and Jehoshaphat cried out.

32 І сталося, як керівники́ колесни́ць побачили Йосафа́та, то вони сказали: „Це дійсно Ізраїлів цар!“ І зайшли на нього, щоб воювати, а Йосафа́т закричав.

33 And when the captains of the chariots saw that he was not the king of Israel, they turned back from pursuing him.

33 І сталося, як керівники́ колесни́ць побачили, що це не Ізраїлів цар, то поверну́ли від нього.

34 And a certain man drew his bow toward him at a venture and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the breastplate; wherefore the king said to the driver of his chariot, Turn around and carry me out of the army; for the pangs of death have come upon me.

34 А один чоловік зне́хотя натягнув лука, та й ударив Ізраїлевого царя між підв'яза́нням пояса та між па́нцерем. А той сказав своєму візникові: „Поверни назад, і виведи мене з табо́ру, бо я ране́ний“...

35 And the battle grew fiercer that day; and the king was standing in the chariot facing the Arameans, and died that evening; and the blood ran out of his wound into the hollow of his chariot.

35 І знявся бій того дня, а цар був поста́влений на колесни́ці проти Сирії, і помер уве́чорі. І кров із рани текла в колесни́цю.

36 And at sunset a herald proclaimed throughout the army, saying, Go, every man to his city and every man to his own country.

36 А як сонце захо́дило, нісся крик у табо́рі такий: „Кожен — до міста свого́, і кожен — до кра́ю свого́!“

37 So the king died and was brought to Samaria; and they buried him in Samaria.

37 І помер цар, і був приве́зений до Самарії. І поховали царя в Самарії.

38 And they washed the chariot on the hill of Samaria; and they washed his armor; and the dogs licked up his blood, according to the word of the LORD which he spoke.

38 І полоска́ли колесни́цю над ставом у Самарії, і пси лиза́ли його кров, а блудни́ці мили своє тіло, за словом Господнім, що Він говорив.

39 Now the rest of the acts of Ahab and all that he did and the ivory house which he built and all the cities that he built, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel.

39 А решта Ахавових діл, і все, що́ він зробив був, і дім зо слоно́вої кости, що він збудував, і всі міста́, які він побудува́в, — отож вони написані в Книзі Хроніки Ізраїлевих царів.

40 So Ahab slept with his fathers; and Ahaziah his son reigned in his stead.

40 І спочив Ахав із батька́ми своїми, а замість нього зацарюва́в син його Ахазія.

41 And Jehoshaphat the son of Asa began to reign over Judah in the fourth year of Ahab king of Israel.

41 А Йосафа́т, Асин син, зацарював над Юдою в четвертому році Ахава, царя Ізраїлевого.

42 Jehoshaphat was thirty-five years old when he began to reign; and he reigned twenty-five years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Arubah the daughter of Shilhi.

42 Йосафат був віку тридцяти й п'яти літ, коли він зацарював, і двадцять і п'ять літ царював в Єрусалимі. А ім'я́ його матері — Азува, дочка́ Шілхи.

43 And he walked in all the ways of Asa his father; he did not turn aside from doing that which was right in the sight of the LORD; nevertheless he did not remove the temples of idols; for the people still offered sacrifices and burned incense on the high places.

43 І ходив він усією дорогою батька свого Аси, і не збо́чував із неї, щоб чинити добре в Господніх оча́х.

44 And Jehoshaphat made peace with the kings of Israel.

44 Тільки па́гірки не були пони́щені, — народ іще прино́сив жертви й кадив на па́гірках.

45 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat and all the might that he showed and how he warred, behold, they are written in the Book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Judah.

45 І Йосафат замирив з Ізраїлевим царем.

46 And the remnant of the Sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he removed from the land.

46 А решта Йосафатових діл та лица́рськість його, що́ він чинив був та як воював, — отож вони написані в Книзі Хроніки Юдиних царів.

47 There was then no king who reigned in Edom.

47 А решту блудоді́їв, що позостава́лися за днів його батька Аси, він вигубив із Кра́ю.

48 Jehoshaphat built ships at Tarshish to go to Ophir for gold; but they did not go; for the ships were broken at Ezion-geber.

48 А царя не було в Едомі, — був намісник царів.

49 Then Ahaziah the son of Ahab said to Jehoshaphat, Let my servants go with your servants in the ships. But Jehoshaphat would not consent.

49 А Йосафат наробив був таршіських кораблі́в, щоб піти до Офіру по золото, та не пішов, бо порозбива́лися кораблі при Ецйон-Ґевері.

50 And Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David his father; and Joran his son reigned in his stead.

50 Тоді сказав Ахазія, син Ахавів, до Йосафата: „Нехай пі́дуть на корабля́х мої раби з рабами твоїми“. Та Йосафат не захотів.

51 Ahaziah the son of Ahab began to reign over Israel in Samaria in the seventeenth year of Jehoshaphat king of Judah, and he reigned two years over Israel.

51 І спочив Йосафат із своїми батьками. І був він похо́ваний в Місті Давида, свого батька, а замість нього зацарював син його Єгорам.

52 And he did evil in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the ways of his father and in the ways of his mother and in the ways of Jeroboam the son of Nebat who made Israel sin;

52 Ахазія, Ахавів син, зацарював над Ізраїлем у Самарії, в сімнадцятому році Йосафата, Юдиного царя, і царював над Ізраїлем два роки.

53 For he served Baal and worshipped him and provoked to anger the LORD God of Israel, according to all that his father had done.

53 І робив він лихе́ в Господніх оча́х, і ходив дорогою ба́тька свого́ й дорогою своєї матері, та дорогою Єровоама, Неватового сина, що вводив у гріх Ізраїля.
